Cabral
Las cachĂșas de Cabral are the main character of one of the last celebrated local carnival festivities in the town of Cabral, Dominican Republic. This specific carnival is well known for its particular length and time of celebration, during the Holy week (out of the period when regular local carnivals are celebrated), and because of the tradition of burning the "Jua" a straw doll that represents Judas in Christianity, connecting the carnival celebrations with the religious traditions of the Dominican culture and creating a peculiar experience for those who live it.
